Ecological Restoration
Support is offered to restore forests, woodlands, prairies, savannas, wetlands, lawns, and gardens. Work combines assessment and monitoring, planning, restoration, agroforestry, prescribed fire, native planting, invasive species control, and ecological monitoring to promote long-term regeneration and resilience.
With over 20 years of monitoring, planning, and field experience, site-specific strategies are provided that respond to each landscape’s history, current condition, and future potential. The focus is on bringing degraded land back to health, whether that is a worn-out farm, an overgrown oak woodland, a reclaimed strip-mine, or an urban yard and garden. An ecologically restored landscape becomes a wildlife nursery where animals have the resources they need to safely raise young. From backyards to thousand-acre landscapes, grounded ecological insight guides the work.
